About

Lydia Daum holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has been a professional designer since 2007. She founded Amar&Riley in Chicago in 2016 and is inspired by ancient art, vintage design, and dad jokes. She can play the accordion but can't whistle. She wears her granddad's glasses but looks just like her grandma. In 2021, Lydia's husband Simon, also a SAIC grad, joined the fold. In 2022, they moved their life and life's work to beautiful Bellows Falls, Vermont.
